My favorite family | Fayetteville, NC Family Photographer
August 28, 2013
I only say they’re my favorite because this is my best friend and her family <3 Our oldest kids were born on the same day. We met in person almost 7 years ago, after being friends online. Everyone clicked and our families have become super close. I've been able to photograph them several times, and this is my favorite session yet <3

I had the pleasure of meeting up with these beautiful boy/girl twins back in March! They did so so great for me! I got to try a few new things with them.
Are you expecting twins? Now is the time to book your session! Email me at katherine@katherinedphotography.com to book your session!! I would love to work with you 🙂

Little Princess | Fayetteville, NC Newborn Photographer

A few weeks ago, I got to meet this little princess. She’s got 2 older brothers to watch over her, as well as being a feisty redhead (yay for more redheads in the world!). She was so cute, gave me a little fight, but we were finally able to get her to sleep and get some portraits of her! Mom had all these great ideas and props. It was so much fun 🙂

My Backyard | Fayetteville, NC Photographer

Back in March, just before we left on our cruise, we were lucky enough to close on the house we can see us living in forever. It’s been so crazy since then, but SO worth it! We purchased a home out in Parkton with 2.6 acres and room for a studio. So what does this mean for you, the client? Well this means I have a dedicated private studio! No more sessions in my garage or living room. Plus, with all that land, we can start doing combo sessions of part studio, part outdoors! I took my girls out for a few photos to show you what it looks like and what you would get from my backyard.
And to show you that my children are not always cooperative, this is how Mia showed me she was done. I’m sure you can hear the complaining, lol!
A few weeks ago, I was contacted by a friend of this lovely family! Her friend’s husband was deploying and she wanted them to have some beautiful images before he left! We were able to meet up last week at the Cape Fear Botanical Gardens for some portraits. Here are a few from their session!
I love this view as I am looking over dad’s shoulders
I worked very hard for this smile!

This was one of the fun ones! It was hot and everyone hung in there. Thank you so much for photographing my family. I love looking back at all the pictures over the years and seeing the progression. No one gets my kids to laugh and smile for photos like you do. They don’t even do that for us. I’m always amazed by your talent!
