Sometimes it can be hit or miss when you are shooting your friends. It’s usually because the kids are not used to you in a photographer capacity and sometimes they get confused. That was not the case for this family! I’ve known them for a few years and I was so happy when they contacted me to do some family photos. We had a blast and everyone was so comfortable in front of the camera. They all love each other so much and it shows!

It’s been an interesting month for me. As you know, I am working with some amazing Clickin Moms Pro ladies. I wasn’t sure what I should do for this month’s theme, and then I thought what better than the happiness of expecting #3!
Yep! #3 is on the way for us! We were shocked, but we are completely excited to be completing our family! This is the reason I’ve been a little slow in responding to things, lol! Things will be a little different this fall, as I’ll have to take some time off to welcome this little bundle of joy!

Back in January, I got to meet up with this fun family for an OpLove shoot! We had a great time and the kids had fun exploring my backyard! I’m happy to hear that D has received his album and I hope that it brings him some happy memories while he is deployed <3

I’m so behind on blogging, so I am trying to catch up!! Back in January, I got to meet up with this amazing woman. You know how you meet someone and feel like you have been friends forever? Yeah, that’s how it felt for me when I met A. She is beautiful inside and out. I loved our session and had such a fun time!

Sweetness and love. If you remember from last month, I am doing a project with some amazing Clickin Moms Pros. Every month, we have a theme, and then we post photos of how we interpret that month’s theme. This month is sweetness and love, and what better than the sweetness of the love between two sisters! My girls have a fabulous relationship. They are the best to each other and you can really see how much they love each other on a daily basis. I love watching them play and grow together. Here are a few from my little mini session with them <3

I must say, just like any photographer, I love repeat clients! I love seeing how everyone has changed, how big their kids have gotten, what’s new with their lives. I love to build that relationship with them! I view all my clients as special to me and I like to think that they chose me not only for my work, but because they feel some sort of connection with me.
Back in December, I got to meet up with this cutie pie. If you look close enough, you just might recognize him. He made his appearance a year ago as a tiny little baby! Now he is one year old and as cute as ever! I loved catching up with them and photographing not only Little M, but his beautiful family as well! Here are a few from that session!

New Beginnings…. So, along with several other photographers from Clickin’ Moms, I am doing a monthly blog post on the way I view things. This month it is on new beginnings. I will admit that this one was a hard one for me! I wracked my brain and came up with this one. Last June, my girls were introduced to The Chronicles of Narnia through my inlaws. They absolutely LOVE the movies. For Christmas this year, my inlaws bought my daughters the entire series of books. This month, we began reading them and I am hoping to get through them all this year. I have never read them, but like my girls, I instantly fell in love with the stories through the movies. Here are some images that show my view on a new beginning

If you are a fan of SweetLove Creates, then you’ll love this post. Lisa is a good friend of mine and she is also the talented woman behind SweetLove Creates. She makes beautiful hats for newborns. I have never seen such fabulous ideas! Back in November, we got together and did a session for her family. I had a blast and her kids were so cute!
We even got a few cute shots for her site!

I first met this beautiful mom & daughter back in June for an OpLove session. They cam back for my minis and I’m so glad they did! It’s always wonderful to chat with A and it was great to see how big little A had gotten!! Thanks again for coming out to my neck of the woods!

I realize this post is late, but we had to wait until it was a little warmer to do her formal portraits. On January 4, my first born turned 6. It’s quite the milestone when you now need 2 hands to tell your age. I can’t believe how quickly this has all gone by!! She’s my sweet, smart, beautiful and wonderful child. She made me a mom and changed my life forever. I can’t imagine what I would do without her!!
